What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?
Community Supported Agriculture is a direct partnership between the consumer and our farm. CSA members pay in advance for a share of the upcoming harvest and are ensured high-quality local produce, and we are ensured a consistent market. Produce is harvested directly from our fields, divided into equal shares, and then either placed at our front door for pick-up or delivered to your drop-off site.
What does a CSA membership include?
- A weekly delivery of seasonal organically-grown vegetables, fruits, and herbs.
- A weekly newsletter with pictures and recipes detailing how to handle and store your produce. Each week we also share news from the farm.
What's in a CSA box?
Each week, members receive a "share" box filled with a variety of 8-12 seasonal, organically-grown vegetables, fruits, and herbs. All of the vegetables in our CSA shares come from our farm. The following are examples of what we plan to have this year.
- Spring: lettuce, kale, beets, Swiss chard, cabbage, broccoli, cilantro, onions, kale, turnips, fennel, radish, Asian greens, kohlrabi, spinach, garlic greens
- Summer: tomatoes, kale, beets, Swiss chard, onions, garlic, squash, cucumbers, okra, eggplant, basil, sweet & hot peppers, watermelon, cantaloupe, tomatoes, zucchini, French sorrel, radicchio
